qshutdown: Timer Shutdown / Reboot / Suspend / Hibernate in Ubuntu
qshutdown Qt is a program that can schedule shutdown, reboot, suspend and hibernate even automatically on your Ubuntu computer at the time you specify and who have every few minutes.
qshutdown has a very simple GUI and can be on your Ubuntu computer shutdown, reboot, suspend and hibernate automatically using this program. This tool is perfect for people who want a computer the way at the time who have been determined.
To install Ubuntu qshutdown at 11:10, 11:04, 10:10 and 10:04, type this command in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: hakaishi / qshutdown
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qshutdown
Once installed, you can run it from Ubuntu Unity Dash at 11:10 and 11:04. In Ubuntu 10.10 and 10:04, you can run it through the menu Applications -> Accessories -> qshutdown.
In this program, you have the option to choose some action such as Shutdown, Reboot, Suspend and Hibernate. Having chosen one action they will be, please select the desired time to execute, at a certain hour or after a few minutes.
You can also click the Calendar button to schedule the date / time you want. You can also check the option to lock this application after the run and provide alerts when the timer reaches the specified time. After all options are set, click OK and you can see the timer starts counting down the TSB program window.
Once executed, the program will display the timer until the execution request sent to the GNOME or KDE session-manager, HAL or DeviceKit, and if the orders they will not work, then the command “sudo shutdown-P now” will be used.
You can configure the program settings by clicking Settings -> Configure. On the Preferences menu, you can configure this program for the automatic path, choose the type of shutdown, and disable hidden features and Announcer, turn the timer on when the computer is turned on, change the font, start the timer, the key after the start, and much more. You can also use the keyboard shortcut to run through qshutdown.
You can access this program from the indicator on the top panel Ubuntu. From there you can access all the menus and features who have been outlined earlier, logfile, and page info. In fact we can reset and restore qshutdown.
